Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NerdyHippo LLC, the operator of the Awaywell digital co-hosting service, handles information collected through awaywellco.com and through delivery of the service.
Awaywell is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Airbnb.
Information collected through the trial request form
When you request a trial on this website, we collect only the following: your first name, your email address, the number of short-term rental properties you operate, the location of your property (city and state), what you would most like help with, and an optional listing URL. We also record the date and time of your submission, your acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and a one-way hashed value derived from your network address that is used solely to limit spam and duplicate submissions.
We use this information to review your property, to email you a confirmation of your request, and to send an internal notification to our team so we can follow up with the next onboarding step. It is stored in a private database table hosted on our backend infrastructure provider (Supabase, via Lovable Cloud) that is not readable from the public website; confirmation and notification emails are delivered through Lovable's managed email service. We do not sell this information.

Third-party services
Delivering Awaywell requires third-party infrastructure. Depending on the feature, this may include AI providers, hosting providers, database providers, email providers, analytics providers, payment processors and other vendors.
This means information you provide — including property instructions and guest communication necessary to perform a task — may be processed by those providers on our behalf. We select vendors we consider appropriate for the service, but we cannot state that your information is never processed by any third party.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
AI and automation
Awaywell uses artificial intelligence and automation to perform authorized digital hosting tasks. Content necessary to perform those tasks is processed by AI providers. We do not make claims about how every provider may use data beyond delivering the requested processing; where we can configure that behavior, we aim to limit processing to service delivery.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary by the type of information and by the systems in which it is stored.
Security
We take reasonable measures intended to protect information, including access controls and use of established infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim that our systems are immune from risk.
Cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some site functionality.
Your choices
You can choose what property information you provide, adjust or revoke platform permissions you have granted, and ask us to update or delete information you have submitted. Some information may be retained where we have a legal or operational need to keep it.
Privacy requests
To make a privacy request, email david@awaywellco.com. We will review the request and respond as appropriate. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
